Allow me to sort of refresh some memories and quell merger thoughts. If a merger occurs between us and CZ, that wouldn’t begin until from the end of 2019 to mid 2020. So for now there’s no worries about that. Shifting is in the works though. Something I’m not privy to yet but there is a shift of something in the works. I’ll try to squeeze some intel soon.
How much of that will be as an FO on reserve on the 200? How many monthly credit hours can I expect to get as a CRJ 200 FO on reserve in DTW?

LOL. Hats AND DGI. Still plenty of stuff to gripe about at 9E for the haters.
Or, let it go, relax, have a genuine conversation with the hard working FAs and fellow pilot on your next flight.
Heck, Compass pilots have a much bleaker outlook than us, and they're joking about snack baskets and dropping some of the funniest memes I ever seen on their feed. I'm hoping our future growth entails an acquisition and fair merger with them. I don't care about their planes. I want their humor and positive attitudes in our pilot group.

Junior DTW 200 FO linr holder was hired Jan of 18. So he probably set reserve 3 or 4 months total. Most FO reserve guys get around 80 to 83 hours of credit depending on how much you're used. If you live in base, reserve guys can get into the 90s easily through a day or two of pickups.

As a husband and father, I'm not much of one for gambling
It seems like the majority of people want the 900, but in my class there were some that bid 200, not many though.
Your class may go all 200 or all 900 though and then you wouldn't have the option.
A few months ago the classes were splitting 50/50 between 200 and 900. Not sure how it's breaking down now.

Correct. 900 usually goes more senior than 200, but not always. Nothing is really guaranteed in this industry though. The numbers I gave you are accurrate as of now and have been accurate for the past 3 years (since I've been here).

Have my interview on the 8th next month, already typed in the 2/7/9. I’d prob pick the duece if it meant getting on a line quicker in ATL. Odds? Roll of the dice (I’m a 65#) or should I be saving bribe $$ for hookers and blow? (Joking I hope you all know...maybe)
