Any "Latest & Greatest" about Endeavor?
Yep...this is what I am worried about. Less than 100 hrs away from 1000 part 121 so I am looking at trying for it on the 17-02, assuming that's about 2-3 months away. I think the 17-01 is right around the corner.

Im glad you did. Too many pilots here say things like "company told me I don't get paid like that", well that's wrong and you are getting robbed.
Learn a little about the contract and politely discuss it next time you are told something wrong from the company, then the guy that was dumb about it 2sec ago is a freaking expert on it.

You just need the 1000 hours to start training, not be awarded a Capt position. The contract allows for 75 hours a month to be estimated between award and training date.

Weather channel isn't required. Company provides weather information needed to perform your duties.
I'll concede the cell phone provided you only use it for work. If not, you need to prorate based on use. Same for internet.
Commuter expenses are not deductible (with rare exception).

Heck for that matter, you could probably deduct a chunk of your home laptop and wifi service for similar usage.

Good luck with pro-rating your cell phone bill. Most tax professionals would be comfortable with a deduction close to the entire amount. The IRS would have to dig pretty deep to evaluate your frequency of company calls, checking Crew Web, Endeavor Web, FLICA, e-mail, etc.....
