I’m hearing we may take delivery of 2 700’s by the end of the month or early next month.

If they are G7, they will spend allot of time in conformity.

Well, you know how rumors go? But had a line check last trip. Anyway, lca said that we were going to start talking some GoJet 700’s very soon. But I personally take lightly. I’m mean I’ve heard it so many times already

Same here, I know for fact that the G7 CA tails are being prepped to be returned to lessor. Their MX is matching engines and other parts back to the original airframes now.

Where they go after that is anyone’s guess. But I will say they are some of the oldest 700s still flying and they have not been well taken care of at G7.

I know c-tower wants more planes, but they also want to protect our performance and when we got EV planes performance went down in lock-step with the amount of flying those planes took on. That’s why those 700s spent so much time in conformity. If we get CA tails it’s the same story.

FWIW, newest rumor floating down stream from C tower is a 1-for-1 swap of those 700s for new(er?) 900s.

Bombardier is basically giving away new 900s (900SCs if need be) to keep the line open. Hopefully they are willing to make the investment in new frames rather than pour money in the old 700s.

I could see us getting new 900s only now because of the 550. Delta and United may be talking about selling the CA tails to United and convert them to 550s. Delta will probably get a good deal on new CRJs and the cost of the 700s may make it cheap enough to buy new airframes.

Every G7 CA tail I ever flew needed at least 2 clicks of rudder trim after takeoff. Those airframes are all bent...and with single FMS, senior FOs never bid them.
