Many captains make that. LCP's clear quite a bit more.

BUT

Any pilot will tell you that you MUST budget on min guarantee. MUST. If you get into a situation where you must clear X to survive you're begging for sadness.

the 550 has no distance with it. Remember, it has to meet scope weight as well, so it’s limited on how much fuel it can carry to keep takeoff weight down.

Devil’s advocate, the weight and distance limit is a function of UALPAs scope agreement baked into the derivatives certification to make it legal per scope.

DALPA does have some similar language that is not as restrictive. The main issue that DAL sees is a 70 seat airplane is not economical for a 50 seat configuration. Further consideration is that flying ATL-CSG or MSP-RST, you don’t need 10 first class seats and 20 comfort plus seats. It’s a 20 minute flight.

Exactly. If you remember a year or two ago there was a town hall. The execs said they did a cost analysis and couldn't figure out how to make a 550 work profitably for us. I think they even joked about how they couldn't figure out how G7 could do it. (I have a theory.....)

To upgrade at endeavor is it 1000 hours 121, or is it on 1000 on type and at the company as well? And how long are you waiting for upgrade right now once you have have your time?

Must be projected to meet FAR minimums, must have 2300 Total Time, and 800 company flight hours. Upgrade is just under 4 years at the moment (11/2017).

21-04 final is out, in other news. With this month and beyond as far as attrition, expect upgrade time to tank.

As in not many as many are leaving? I'm new to the game and don't know what 21-04 is/means.
