Obviously the flow isn’t keeping people here. It’s not working . We are still losing 60 to 70 a month . Air whisky just upped their pay and pilots are getting to Delta faster at Republic outside the flow , LOL. There are only 3 things that will work . Higher pay rates/more money , Seniority/Longevity or absorbing the planes and pilots or any combination therefore mentioned . If they aren’t willing to do any of that then I’m assuming they would just let it bleed to nothing and have mainline fly everything which would be more expensive than all the above mentioned . So it’s just a waiting game on what will happen.

My bet is that they do nothing until the situation is completely untenable, and then panic and decide they have to do something, anything, ASAP which will end up costing them a lot more than if they'd been proactive and gotten out ahead of this. No idea what form that will take, but it'll be interesting to watch...

Did I read that right in the MEC blast that first year capt pay at skywest is really going to be $6 more than our 15 year captain pay scale?

Supposedly 100 / HR but it will snap back to current rates in a couple of years. (Don’t know the exact date)

And they took bonuses away.
