Vote no fast. Vote no early. Zero concessions for any pilot no matter how junior.

As far as the 12 yr captain rate, they are just trying to make the senior guys whole again from the bankruptcy.

On a side note, the union wouldn't say from who they'd be coming from, but to expect the 200s to be coming online here starting first quarter so I'd personally expect to hear news from the company before Christmas on that front.
Probably for more New York Flying...?

My gut actually says no. As a 50 seat NYC based pilot, it appears, at least JFK has the 50 seat flying covered fully and there are no other DCI 50 seaters there to take over (unless DAL wants to up the frequency). As to where the flying is going to be...and cue the nay sayers...I think it'll be ATL flying...just not enough to justify opening a base there though IMHO.

That's the consensus. Also that it will be EV birds which will stay mainly in ATL and we will just flying. Kind of like our 12 -200s that Skywest has. They basically stay in the DTW and MSP system.

How nice it would be to get those + that flying instead!

Patiently awaiting the next announcement.

Talk about shrinkage, today there are only 48 departures out of MSP. Even LGA has it beat.

In essence they would divide the bonus by (12 x 80-ish) to determine hourly pay rate increase. If you bid 75 hours you would see a decrease in annual compensation. Im not saying this is how it will go down but the idea has been floated.

I can guarantee that someone did say "slight" cuts were possible.
Of course, because why help reserve pay and time off, especially when we have 2 bases shrinking and guys falling back onto reserve after already having put 10+ years of it in here.

I'm confused. I read about growth and how they can't fill classes/fast upgrades and now I am reading that guys are falling back to reserve after 10 years. Is this base dependent?

Yes. DTW and MSP have slowed down with the buildup of NYC. As has been mentioned, much of the NYC expansion has been settled, so let's see what happens now.

Growth in New York, shrinkage points west.
