RF 100 DROP
It will be approved if you're in a status that has plenty of staffing. I've gotten plenty of drops in the past. Guys will say they haven't had a drop approved in months or years, but it's usually because they hold a different status that is short. I'm not sure how LGA FO is staffed right now, but it's worth a shot. You'll lose pay though, so it's a bit of a trade off.

I do believe peanut butter said that like 7 yrs ago. "Commuting is a lifestyle choice". And then all our bases closed one by one, 1000 guys left, and here we are. FYI even if they have staffing they will say they don't because they need to be able to fly you out to dallas to do a Waco overnight. Should have done your research. Dacuj you there?

Reserve is a tough deal for commuters in any base due to only having 11 days off. Although some commuters still prefer RSV to a solid 4/2 line. Hopefully some consolation is that reserve time is fairly reasonable in LGA. Some strategies for extra time off include proffering for late starting trips on day one, early end times on the last day, and doing the same with ready reserve (preferencing S3 on day one and S1 on the last day).
