There is no additional interview or screening after the initial where you are hired at Envoy. A simple departmental transfer is all that happens. Why don't you explain to me how you think you are not American Airlines.

Incoming!! 😁

Lets see.

Different Union
Different Pay Structure
Different Benefits
Different Scope
Different Everything
Different Badge
Different Jumpseat Priority on AA

There, that is just a simple list of things, not even venturing into contract and work rule issues. With your logic, every AA pilot is an Envoy pilot then due the same uniforms, same software, same qualifications etc.

Come on, lets be real.

Pay, seniority, pay, longevity, 401k, pay, health insurance, oh and I almost forgot pay. We're not even in the same Union as AA.

Check your seniority list. We aren't there

Actually it’s not even the same lanyard. Envoy is required to wear the AA lanyard if a lanyard is worn. Look at the AA pilots. They wear an APA lanyard. Envoy specifies the AA lanyard so if the union tried any kind of solidarity lanyard it would be non compliant and an FM1 violation.

And to add to the list, wings aren’t the same either.

To be fair, the APA lanyard isn't compliant with their FM1 either.

Our FOs wear the same wings as their FAs though!

What everyone seems to forget is we get to wear leather jackets, those “mainline” pilots can’t. So what does that say about AA.

American “The real AA” Eagle > AA
