This depends, once you receive your pre-conditional offer during the face to face invite, they begin assessing and validating the information you provided. This includes PRIA, background checks and FAA/DOT testing. Once everything clears your information is sent to the Captains review board. One they give it the green light you will receive your official “CJO.” Every case varies depending on how quick previous employers respond.

While you have the flow now, you are certainly not at AA. Anything can happen between now and then.
Granted I know you are just trying to get a rise out of people but really.

That last line though, give me a break. I guarantee you wouldn’t say that to a mainline pilot if sitting in their jump seat, nor should you if you would.

You are 100% correct, what that guy might be doing sarcastically to bug everyone on here, a prospective pilot might not see it as that.

All looks good, except, welcome to Envoy Air INC. Just to clarify we are a regional airline not a legacy airline. But we have similar uniforms to AA and get to wear the same lanyard.

Ohh.. I decided on Envoy because I was told out was mainline...
Jk jk lol
In all seriousness, thanks for responding and talking the time to chime in. Won’t be at an Indoc class yet, just trying to gather some data points.

Actually I flowed through mid 2018 and I still consider an Envoy pilot an American pilot. It is pretty simple for me. You are hired to be an AA pilot before you get to the pipeline. Envoy flies AA painted planes with NN registrations, have exactly the same uniforms and the same computer system among other things. There is no additional interview or screening after the initial where you are hired at Envoy. A simple departmental transfer is all that happens. Why don't you explain to me how you think you are not American Airlines.
