Ordinarily, I would say by the end of training, but since there were no ORD FO on the last bid, there will likely be senior folks that still want it and no guarantee it will be offered even in the next quarterly bid. It’s a moving target, but I would bet nine months, six if you’re lucky.

It sure looks like things are moving faster than that. Someone in class two or four weeks before me already was able to bid a different base.

The question and answer was specifically moving to ORD. As I said, ORD didn’t have any openings last bid and someone new will have to get in line. Moving to DFW or MIA I would say yes, probably next bid and until the last bid with ORD having no openings, that would still have been true.

This is based on timing. Because envoy runs these bids almost every quarter, those hired near a vacancy bid get a new base sooner than those hired right after a bid was completed.

Yeah, things are definitely moving fast...

YTD Flow Attrition: 100
(Source: MEC, May 2022)

155-410 = -255 and it's only May = Which one of you shiny new guys gets to turn out the lights?

Which was my point a while back. Wouldn’t be surprised if MIA went MIA again.
