Hahahahaha! You win the internet. Airport standby pay? Sure, it’s the same as of lost day pay. $1.90 per down.

Come on, at least be factual with your borderline slanderous comment.

$1.95.

A reserve day pays 3.7 hours, whether or not you fly. You will NEVER break guarantee as a reserve pilot at Envoy. Standby pilots only occasionally get the call to work a flight. They will call in the RAP pilots if there is time.

You can proffer for a sequence to fly but those flights are usually the left over very low time flights that no one would pick up on OT.

The 3.7 hours credit per day really only comes into play if they let you drop (rarely) a day. That’s how much they will deduct from your 75 hours of pay for the month.

Couldn’t remember for sure if it was 3.9 or 3.7. The math worked and I was too lazy to look it up.

So like um-teen-hundred years ago when I was on airport stand-by (for another major company)....you sat at the airport for 4 hours....if not used, you got paid 4 hrs per diem PLUS 5 hrs of flt pay credited towards your reserve guarantee (since our 1 day trips were worth 5 hours). I can't believe in 2022 ya'll don't get any flight time pay credit for sitting there 8 hours..........when is your next contract up for negotiations? Because this sucks
