Hey guys please take it easy on me. Planning in moving to ORD with my girl, Envoy is her first option. So the question is, after you eventually make the move to AA (7-9 years). What is all this time at Envoy good for when you flow to AA in terms of seniority, pay longevity, etc. Thanks (I already went over all the negativity about this company)

There are many things wrong with the company right now in terms of the pilot group.
I have seen enough of his (her?) posts to agree that this person has to be in management and likely recruiting. To completely ignore the issues and focus on such small, specifics could only be.

Nothing. Doesn’t get you any more or less than going someplace else or coming from someplace else. I believe there were some along the way that did, but not anymore.

Yes. You can transfer your 401k, but you can do that anywhere.

And in fact, when you start at AA you start in standard age order for your class. It is not uncommon to see your seniority change a few spots from other people in your class if they were junior to you but older or vice versa.

You get the 16% direct contribution from the company to your 401k immediately, as opposed to a street hire that has to wait one year. And your years of service at Envoy also count towards the required years of service to get lifetime travel benefits. Other than that, you start from zero.

I stand corrected. Thanks for the assist.

Is the immediate contribution to the 401k still for current hires? I was thinking you could take your matched 401k even if not fully vested, but probably no one that would apply to with the length of time to flow. Maybe the immediate contribution is how that actually works out.

I was under the impression this was only for the protected pilot group and prior. Is my understanding correct?

Your understanding is not correct. The immediate contribution is for any AA subsidiary (any AA WO). So any flow will get the immediate direct contribution.
