Flow times dropping? Please. A new hire today will not see flow until 9 years. Similar numbers to flows today. Do you really love Envoy and it's brutal reserve, scheduling and oppressive management that much?

Weren't you on this board several months ago pretty hyped up.about Envoy and the flow? Envoy is the same as it was 10 and 20 years ago. Good stuff just around the corner coming out of the lying mouths of management.
Do you have your apps out? Please don't discount the LCCs. If it weren't for me leaving Envoy for an LCC, I would have never landed the job at Delta, where I am now.

I have become more vocal these last couple of days due to the recent slap managment out across our faces.

Corporations aren’t people folks, no matter what some would have you think. Thinking that the company has a goal of keeping its employees happy is a bad place to start especially when it comes to our union. Envoy Air Inc has a fiduciary responsibility to its shareholders first and foremost and the only goal is profits. There are no feelings involved in this. If a company decides to pay more or give bonuses, it’s not out of the goodness of their hearts, it’s to protect the bottom line by recruiting and/or retaining labor. The way our union is surprised when management isn’t willing to give away reserve enhancements for free blows mind more than anything. It tells me that they and a lot of other folks here just don’t get it. All this talk about “good faith” negotiations and I want to slap myself. I sound like a broken record because I keep saying we gave away our leverage on improvements with these crap LOAs. Contract negotiation reps kept telling me we have to play nice and help the company out with there captain shortage now so they can scratch our backs later. I couldn’t believe my ears at first. Now here we are, the union finally realized that the company will gain nothing financially from negotiations right now...so they won’t even make the attempt. A disgruntled pilot group has not slowed the line of new hires coming in and why would the company care at all about disgruntled pilots at a WO? No one about to flow is going to make waves and put there chance of getting the heck out of here in jeopardy. So currently the company has all the cards and we have none and it isn’t changing anytime soon. Sorry if some here are just finding this out.

Envoy's doesn't even acknowledge there is a price at all. In their words "You are fortunate that we selected you."

I don’t think that is all the story. One would need to know how many of the cadets have degrees. I think the cadets get lured in with the flight benefits. Don’t know what any of the other cadet programs can offer, but the ONE good thing I can say about Envoy is the flight benefits.

Sure, during the interview, the flow was an interest. RTP is ~30% of new hires RE: Training Dept.
QOL is better ANY day of the week when you're not getting shot at, have to live on MRE's or be away from family 6 months +.
12/12 RTP got offers a couple of interviews ago with 23K in ATP requirement funds and a 17K bonus at INDOC.
Sometimes you have to weigh up what's best for you and your family. The grass is always greener.....or something like that.
You mean I get to flow to AA after I fly some jets for a few years?!!
