Never said that. I said mec not going to make waves to affect their flow. Status quo is a win for management.
Reserve has been negotiated for over 3 years and end result nothing. Just like our amenable period coming up, zero cost neutral must be the end result. So how do you get gains with that, you dont. Besides are you not all spouting people are off reserve in 6 month average, no capitol should be expended for reserve rule changes if 6 months is the average a pilot spends on reserve. Like it or not.

For a new hire on the 175, sure. 145 is seeing well over a year on reserve, CRJ its until they’re gone.

I still don’t follow your logic. What part not withdrawing multiple large grievances that are going to arbitration and will hurt the company’s practice of violating the contract is not making waves?

I don’t think you are seeing the story from the right angles. As for protecting flow, the MEC leadership already has done that. It’s time to move on as we all know the main focus of the last loa was to get the PP’s gone. That’s been done and it’s working.

The union did the right thing we the rejection yesterday. In no way should we have given the company a pass on grievances that would ultimately come back to hurt us just so that we could continue to talk.

The blame falls squarely on the company for this one and it shows how they really feel about our pilot group.

If u r looking fractional, NetJets is WAY better than flexjet, starting w union protection at NetJets. NJ just got a new contract, with WAY more soft pay than they had before...

I sometimes wonder if protecting 175 NHs from reserve is the company’s way of ensuring we never achieve solidarity, but that’s probably just an accident on their part. That’s why I think cost-neutral is potentially an opportunity. This company is not helmed by particularly canny people. How about that NY hotel LOA? They totally stopped NFE hiring after a couple months of that.

It’s because there is growth on the 175, hence less reserve. In terms of managements decisions, I don’t give them that much credit. They are reactionary instead proactive and this spend money needlessly while not giving it to causes that actually matter long term.

Lead from behind as they say.

Weren't you on this board several months ago pretty hyped up.about Envoy and the flow? Envoy is the same as it was 10 and 20 years ago. Good stuff just around the corner coming out of the lying mouths of management.

Do you have your apps out? Please don't discount the LCCs. If it weren't for me leaving Envoy for an LCC, I would have never landed the job at Delta, where I am now.

“Leave”. Is that what you call it? Most would call it fired. And no one’s believing your Delta stories. Now that flow times are dropping I rarely see you here spreading your doom but as soon as something goes wrong here you are again.
