Even if they did, your claim has a lot of IFs in it. IF they don't lose their medical. IF they make it to American. IF they get a captain upgrade on a wide body. IF there isn't a global recession that prevents all of that. IF we aren't flying single pilot when we retire.

IFs don't pay the bills.
Yes, some of them do.

That's why I had the range there. Call it $50-90k, or whatever. It's still a lot of money.

And yes, there are a ton of IF's, not denying that.

It is not a continued flow increase.
Where is your info on TWO months of no classes at AA coming from? As far as I’ve heard they are only losing August.

Yes actually they do. Haha I’ve seen the pay stubs.. even some narrowbody captains bring that in.

We should NEVER give up anything for flow.

It helps management more than us. So mad.

I like this deal. Significant pay increases plus faster flow to AA. I’ll trade three months sooner to a AA for two weeks worth of back pay valued at 400$ish. Pay rates beat what I was expecting.

A big win for me was that senior pilots didn’t get hosed at the expense of newer pilots. Everyone saw an equalish bump in pay.

Just curious how you derived your numbers. You could be right, I just haven't taken the time to work out the details until I know what they are exactly.

In terms of hosed, senior pilots made out on the last deal as well, flowing PP's significantly faster, so where is this senior captains getting hosed complaint coming from?

There was more in the AIP than 2 weeks of pay.

The AIP was dead know that!
Now when compared to PSA/PDT we got a better deal. The rates are the same at all three but PSA has significantly more large RJs that’s an issue and we are not going to solve it overnight but over the next 2 years it should get closer to parity. 140s getting parked more 175s coming. But those who are on Payband B are the ones who got the largest flow benefit about 2.5 months is that earth shattering? No but it’s more than PSA/PDT got PDT is all small RJs.
