Pretty dangerous attitude to present to the group. Let’s see, they spend all of five minutes in training on this topic and that usually requires someone to ask questions to get it that far. Not to mention some people don’t have diversions very often, I went nearly two years without one, all leading up to a lack of skill on this subject.

Glad they asked to be honest, at least now they can get the information they need as opposed to pretending the issue didn’t exist.

Luckily you have always been gods gift to aviation and never had to deal with such lowly issues.

To the one asking, reference the FM1 and call the help desk, it’s exactly what it’s there for. Good luck.

Thanks, appreciate it, I’m reviewing it now. Luckily I didn’t have to fill one out, but the thought of possibly having to fill one out and not being 100% sure made me want to look around for some info. The last time I filled one out was over 2 years ago with the CAs help.

Probably around 8-9 year flow. Union said they’d release an interactive seniority list after the last flow plan .. still waiting on that, it’s been a few weeks. So yeah..

Actual flow time is solid the day you start indoc at American. Everything else is just guessing.
I'm guessing it settles somewhere between 5-45 years.

I'm studying for an upcoming interview, and just wanted to review our GPWS policy. Can anyone point me in the right direction (or PM me) where it says that we can continue a day time visual approach after getting a terrain warning? I have spent the past hour looking for it, but can't find it.

Also, I know that we do not reconfigure the AC in a w/s escape, but do we reconfigure for a terrain escape, I think no...but this also doesn't seem to be in the -145 manual.

Thanks!

QRH, WARN, under the first bold square

If you’re configured, no. Not until you’re clear.

Thanks!
See above.

Would giving free flight instruction to a family member or friend be considered for “hire or reward” per the FM1? If you consider the accumulation of flight time as a “reward” then I guess no one could do any outside flying of any kind.

Basically, it's a question for the chief pilot not this board. And it's only flying for hire that's the problem.
