It's not refusing to be released into rest because they can do that to 4 am RAP to cover later flying. It's not consenting to being released early from a RAP for a next day assignment you didn't proffer for.

Thanks for the advise. Crew scheduling told me I had to choose accept the assignment, because I did not proffer for it. So at
Least they were up front about it.

I’m not familiar with this part of the contract and have not looked it up but the bolded part is not in agreement with the texts above.

That’s why we have Nas in ground school. He teaches us to look things up. “Let’s look it up!”

I know that’s what I said/agreed to in someone else’s post. There’s no need to dodge the call for a RAP2 to RAP1.

I guess I was a little vague in my post. If a pilot is on SBY/RAP and CS call to confirm ANY next day reserve assignment then a call back within 15 minutes would be my advice for probation pilots and pilots flowing within two years. I’m not going to push that topic because there’s enough implied references that would lead me to believe I need to call them back. Especially since the arbitrator ruled that pre assigned RAP1 was legal.

This one wasn’t an easy one but by no means was it difficult. It’s in the first part of the reserve section surrounded by useless information. 12 B 6

The PSA tards are starting to get wet because of their impending DFW invasion. Maybe we can share a crewroom as long as they don’t try to murder anyone.
