Said turds also accepted a 15 year contract, or whatever it was, What kind of idiot does that?

Sorry, but no minimum wage job, which regional flying essentially was then, is worth your self-respect and dignity as a human.

Nothing anyone says about accepting that kind of contract will ever convince me otherwise. There was a choice to do something else with your life, or at least do it someplace else. Have some self-respect, man!

Varsity, it’s at their discretion. I’ve seen them walk people out and I’ve seen guys complete their two weeks and move on.

Either way, your two week notice is sufficient and no bad blood is felt.

I don't have any info about the 145 or CRJs, but for 175 FO in May, a 9/18 hire got a CMP line. 2100ish seniority.

At some point, working for $32,400 a year is just a waste of time.

Especially for someone college educated, Most recent B-school grads are hired into their first job at twice that.

I get what you’re saying, but man, ya gotta play the long game. I look at the stuff that my MBA cohort is doing now, and yeah they’re making racks of cash, but with what sort of quality of life? We get jerked around, but this gig is way less work than middle management, finance, consulting, etc. That said, good luck with whatever your next move is!

That's why I came back, I was making 170K a year at the old gig but I was on the road the entire summer and then worked 8-6 Mon-Fri in the off season. Company only had one contract and if that vanished so did everyone's job. So taking a massive pay cut for the long run made sense.
