Instead of going over all the systems and then taking a KV. You take KV first thing day 2 and the rest of that day is spent going over class deficiencies. So people who were used to learning the systems in class prior to taking a test will be in for a surprise if they don't study prior to coming to recurrent.

Yes in the new aqp guide. Let’s be honest though, I know a lot of people who do zero studying going into recurrent besides the cbts, and they show up and find a way to pass. So I’m guessing the 4 individuals that failed last week most likely looked at nothing going into recurrent.

The problem however is making sure people are aware of this and use it as a resource.

The online KV that had been used previously allowed unlimited attempts and was, by nature, open book. This is a big change amounting to the addition of a jeopardy event and they haven’t discussed it at all in the AQP book, besides saying a KV will be done on day 2. Surprised ALPA isn’t on this.

I’m addition they do discuss it in the document and state that you need an 80% to pass and the class will review the most common areas of deficiencies that afternoon. Lastly if you don’t pass you will receive focused training before moving on.
