I’m certainly no “clown”. I don’t think a professional negotiator will automatically get everything we want. But management has professionals and they certainly don’t give a $&@k about how upset the employees are. If members of the union are concerned about being individually targeted, then we should have people who CAN’T be targeted because they are not employees.

100%. Plus, the company won’t be able to deny union leave due to staffing for negotiations.

Does anyone know the "why" as to the reason we don't do this? It can't be money, ALPA paying their senior leadership over half a million dollars a year. Cant see money being a valid issue.

Huh? Was this supposed to be a coherent thought? Everyone was well aware that there wouldn't be any in August due to the MD80. What 50 cent pay raise are you talking about?
