Republic captain pay
12th yr 110
18th yr 129
20th yr 136

Skywest
12th yr crj 900 109. E75 107 crj700 107
18th yr. Crj 900 122 E75 121 crj700 120
20th yr. Crj 900. 125 E75 123 crj700 122

The point is, republic flies over 115 e75's for american, skywest over 50 crj700's for american. The non wholly owned pay more and they make profits, whereas the w/o are paid less to subsidize the non w/o contracts.
Envoy mgt did not exceed there authority, it's just a game they are playing to show aag they should be the surviving mgt team in case of a merge.
It's all a game to envoy mgt but it's not a game to the pilots who have families.

These agreements in principle are a complete waste of time as they have no teeth. Stop signing them and then figuring out the language as all that happens is some yahoo at management changes their mind while you all work out the wording. Take the offer, review it, make the changes, then come back and offer it as a contract.

We gain nothing by accepting these in principle other than tell the company a good benchmark that we are willing to accept at which point they seem to come back a short time later saying "never mind".

Perhaps. Maybe it's just what they say it is, a cool down period.

Both parties. Of everything that has happened, a cool down is about the most normal aspect of it. Very common for negotiating teams to step away if a deal doesn't go through so that everyone can reeavaluate the deal and what is important.

Some current big picture issues that have gone through a recent cool down to now start up again.

US vs China trade. US vs NK everything etc.

if you assume management is being honest, their job now is to go to AA and negotiate to bring home bacon for their hardworking team that spends all day every day busting ass to make them look good. This is how things would work with normal management at a normal company, but having worked here for 18 mos now that is obviously not what is going to happen

This outcome was as predictable as the one with the new reserve rules that were supposed to happen. All the P2P guys ran around telling folk that its coming and just a matter of putting it in language.

Then boom, they retracted after months of negotiating and NADA.

Now the same **** again signed AIP or not, Union got played, and they did not learn their lesson from the last time they got played.

It's a complete **** show from the union, take a lesson or something in how to deal with hostile management from the pros. But stop whining after you got played and stop the cooldown excuse.

Get educated and get it right the next time ... I mean we are paying a lot in dues EVERY paycheck and that is the best we get ... come on.
