They are not the same as actually having a job over there, but they are not worthless. Some of those guys stepped on property senior to people who were already there. They also went over with a few years longevity (some did anyway). Again, it’s not the same as a job, but it ain’t nothing.

Enjoy is NOT American. This is abundantly clear with what has already been offered up to AA pilots. Envoy Mgt is offering nothing but offenses.

As for flow being a SHORT pause, you have your head so deep in the sand it is stuck back up your @$$. The entire world economy has taken a dump unlike anything ever seen. I would be surprised if AA hires again before next year.

I totally missed it. That is significant if true.

Its not true. That’s why you missed it.

It has been discussed in the past. So have reserve improvements...

Nothing currently

I (we, but mostly me) tried in 2013. We had it worked out with APA for a single list. Short version is after three meetings the company wouldn't go along. Hopefully their attitude has changed. That said, you now have an APA BOD twice the size of the one we had to work with. Also, with the E190 going away, the gap jet fence, would have the be elsewhere. Finally, you have three WO eagles now instead of just one. First step, if I may suggest....
Envoy dump ALPA and select APA
Envoy then file single carrier against the other two Eagles forcing a representation vote. Same uniforms, same branding, same ticket sales source, same controlling parent, just about all the triggers for single carrier are already there. ALPA won't want to do it because they know it eventually leads to thousands of members leaving for another union. Obviously AA/Envoy win that and now everybody is APA.
The rest I'll leave to you. Feel free to call if you want the old paperwork on what was worked out previously.

Well said! I am not a fan of ALPA national; ask my father the TWA pilot.

A. Interesting. Thanks.
B. Probably not the time for it right now.
C. I’m not sure APA would want to trigger a vote at AA. How confident do you think they are that they’d win?

buddies8 03-26-2020 12:25 PM

First you have to decertify alpa and apa come on property seeking to represent you simultaneously.

merging the list, field of dreams

Bad news all, the FEMA Waffle House Index is trending in the wrong direction. They only closed 100 for hurricane Katrina and are already up to 400 closures for Covid.

This could be it.

This is the most accurate trend data out there.

My paycheck is not showing up on epays? I wonder if Dougie is buying some more stock buyback with my paycheck.

So today in TX, Governor put out a mandatory 14-day quarantine for anyone coming from NY, NJ, CT or the city of New Orleans.
it says that “This order to self-quarantine shall not apply to people traveling in connection with military service, emergency response, health response, or critical-infrastructure functions, as may be determined by the Texas Division of Emergency Management.

I would assume we are under “Critical-infrastructure functions” but does anybody know where to find this in writing?

You will find a memo explaining your role as an essential worker on my.envoyair, as discussed in company emails.

Anyone know a way to see the current month bid packet or even previous months? With all of these cancelations we need to stay on top of pay and unfortunately quickbid only lists the next month packet, unless I am missing something.

The ALPA MEC website has them archived several years back.

-Keep the dirty side down

And the good news keeps coming. Can we get a pause from all the hell lol. New York and Chicago are looking at huge line reductions for May.

SomePilotDude 03-31-2020 01:23 PM

Looks like I’m moving my vacation later because I’ll be sitting at home getting Reserve guarantee doing absolutely nothing.

6ix9ineYearFlow 04-04-2020 09:23 AM

So how does Envoy come out of this COVID-19 crisis? Obviously our fate is tied to AAG (which, unfortunately, is not a good place to be). Do the wholly-owneds merge? Does AA relax scope and we get hosed with flying bigger jets (i.e. less mainline flying)? Does our flow get torn up in a bankruptcy? Do we get absorbed at mainline? Does Carole Baskin douse us in sardine oil and feed us to the tigers?

Probably the latter.

Crystal ball still hazy. Ask again later.

We get closer to October with not much changed and management comes for concessions "to prevent furloughs", then after gutting our pay and work rules they furlough 800 pilots. We get an HI6 lazily typed up in 15 seconds with multiple typos that ends in "sorry lol"

I agree with you on everything except for work rules. We don’t really have any work rules left over from the last bankruptcy/concessionary contract. As if this place wasn’t rough enough ...

30% mainline reduction, all 50'seaters gone, think Southwest with heavy's, or Hawaiian, or Jet Blue, or Alaska, and some large RJ's.

The inheritable value of the large network is gone, think of why no startups have RJ's, and instead build robust point to point service, then expand to hubs w/ connections.

Too hard to make money on day 1 with a rual coast to cost network, and legacys may have to start at day 1 when this is over.

There is a response from Scot Kirby basically lol'ing when he heard Frontier was gonna put Denver on connections with banks of flights.

so what kind of deal is Endeavor getting in NY. Sounds like they don't have to report to work and still get paid min guaranteed for the month. Not too bad

Company will tout flow for disparity in conditions between ENY and EDV.
