Envoy has a pretty awful reputation, so I guess pot meet kettle?
Also, I’ve never heard a single person call any regional mainline except for SkyWest. So either 1) you’re making **** up, or 2) the LGA Instagram pilots are drinking a different recipe of Kool Aid. Both seem plausible.

Skywest is mainline.
They own their own airplanes.

Every envoy pilot should take heed of what this guy is saying. Make sure you email the union with any issues with any jumpseat denials. Be professional when they violate the signed agreement.

Check-in before OAL? We don’t need to check in at republic if we’re sitting in the back, and just so you know, we’re always ahead of OAL pilots on Eagle flights. I’d recommend you to read the jumpseat rules before talking shi+ here, it sounds like you don’t know what you’re doing, dummy.

Last year they tried this same thing in MIA. They demanded that AAG pilots had to re-list as a D6UJ and started handing out papers to gate agents informing them of the new procedure that they had decided was being implemented. While I feel for them, there is no brand loyalty for YX pilots. They can fly a flight for any of the three carriers. You cannot fence them off. If you could, then maybe they could give them some sort of perk, but a YX pilot commuting on an ORD-EWR flight isn’t going there to benefit AA in that base so why should they be able to bump off a NK, B6, DL, etc. pilot? YX signed an agreement and they should honor it. Waking up to the gate in MIA and saying to a pilot trying to get home “yeah, I know this is an AA flight and you’re a D2, but because I don’t like the contract my company signed, I am going to let the Spirit guy have the jumpseat. Tell your management if you don’t like it,” won’t buy an ounce of sympathy from us. Ask me how I know. Starting a unilateral action is not going to end well for anyone. Ok
