Nice to know we don't have more pressing issues to address.

It’s time to make weed legal for pilots

Anyone know how November attrition is looking? Are we on track to have another 60+ departures? What is the class date for those flowing?

I mean, everyone knows the company is inept and can’t accomplish the simplest of tasks. Their next screw up will probably be a doozy. So why not wonder if we can have beards? Even if it is a pipe dream because AA controls the branding and image guidelines. So unless mainline gets beards, the WO’s won’t get them.

https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/i...oooLA&usqp=CAU Man, I really couldn’t give a rip about the beard cause. But I have to point out that bidding reserve won’t work in this environment. |

The question that you should be asking yourself instead is "will this company uphold its contractual obligations and compensate its people properly?" and "do I really want to work for a company that is going to jack up pay multiple times in two weeks?"
This. It blows my mind this dude really came on and asked that question. But let me not be that disgruntled pilot, he’s innocent and just doesn’t know better. |
Looks like our friends at SkyWest are now operating the 175 on behalf of AA in ORD. May their reign be long and prosperous.

First it was one or two planes. Then half a dozen. Then 20 and they'd basically taken over LGA. Then one or two popped up at JFK... and within 6 months the base was closed. This will happen again and again until the incompetent management at Envoy is purged, since we can't compete with the contractors with that amount of dead weight dragging down profits. |

For those that remember, this is how Republic showed up in NYC and look how that turned out.

The reality is the AAG WOs have become a dead end. AAG has switched its game plan and they aren’t willing to PURCHASE the new planes that the WOs need to compete. RPA and SKW have the money to buy the planes so AAG will continue to give them the flights. |

AAG will fix it. Delta and AA are in contract negotiations I think both contracts will address seniority to mainline from respective regional feed. To big of a problem to ignore. Some pilots may balk at a staple or longevity credit, but they want a contract in the middle of Covid, and it’s a freebie for them to give. If there is one list, there are 0 threats to adding 4 seats to large RJs, and 5 to 65 seaters, keep block ratio same or improve it, and only on planes they have direct seniority too. The fleet generates more revenue.
Kirby is setting United up to upgrade RJs swapping a 70 seat 170 for a 70 seat 175, makes no sense unless you plan to go to the mattresses over adding 6-10 seats at a later date. |
