Before anyone asks, I am 121. Only did logbook review, finger prints, pee test and a lot of paperwork.
Do you know if you are part of the last batches of 121 Captains to get offered a class date? Are they going to keep having classes with just 121 guys for the next month again, or Will they start calling up some cadets and FO’s shortly? Just curious to see how many more 121 Captains they are going to put in front of the cadets and FO’s. I have been hearing Cadets and FO’s may start up beginning September and/or October but am not too sure.

And let me guess, you had to wait in the snow, uphill both ways with no avocado toast?

If you've been in the game since 9/11 and you're still visiting the regional threads, you severely mismanaged your career all on your own.

I just spit my coffee. Thanks for the laugh this morning.

I understand waiting in line- competition is good. Hire the best, most qualified candidate. My post was more about the communication which I would hope has improved over the last 21 years.

Default my case

Hi all, I am new to the Forums. I have 1100 hours prior 121 time. Last 121 flight was in 2016 though I am current on a particular light jet. No Embraer type ratings. Is this what I would be paid? Trying to decide if Envoy is worth applying to.

10,000 for having more than 950 hours 121 prior time
10,000 sign on bonus delivered when finishing IOE
5,000 when finishing 1 year on line
5,000 sign-on bonus
91,800 based on 85 hrs/mo @ 90/hr block rate
-------
121,800

Need to adjust that last figure to 75/hrs per month once out of training. While in training you get 64/hrs per month.

As the other post indicated, adjust the hours.

That being said, as someone with more than 750 hours of qualifying 121 time, your pay will be bumped up to captain rate of $146. I think that will happen at completion of IOE. Also, you will get the $30K Captain qualified bonus since you have more than 950 hours 121 time. Again, I think that will happen after completing IOE and signing commitment agreement. Keep in mind that $30K has a two year hook attached. It takes a month or so to actually see the money.

You will also be a junior captain on reserve, for a while. Depends where you are in the hiring wave whether and how many end up below you and how long it takes for all the junior FOs to upgrade and keep you down.

Talk to recruiting to get the definitive answer. Good luck getting a response however. Envoy recruiting, like a lot of the Envoy departments has some issues to work through.

Much thanks guys. My W2 did not surpass 38,000 back in 2016 doing right seat regional flying for a top tier regional. That is in fact why I quit. How times change!
