After orientation when do they typically put you in a class? I’m about to go to orientation but they’re sending me home the next day. Does class typically start the following week?

You are on payroll starting orientation date. Class date could be up to 3 weeks later. Are you prior 121 or a 1500 hr CFI? The push is for high time 121 folks to start sooner

I went in recently for finger prints and all that stuff. How long to hear back on an orientation date? Is it true it may be sooner with more qualifying time? I have about 2500 121 and a prior 121 Captain. Just hoping to not have to go to recurrent next month with my current gig.

I have to ask why you’d come back? Where did you go that is so horrible that you’d be willing to come back to RW and RN being the geniuses that they are? Sure, the money has improved as well as other QOL items, but unless you went to fly a 172 it can’t be worse than this.

More time doesn’t necessarily mean quicker class date. Once your high time or captain qualified everyone is kind of on the same boat. You’ll be in the same line as everyone else. Running only 2 classes a month they likely already have the next several classes scheduled and full. Although I don’t know how many months out the plan classes or how many they currently have planned. Timing is unfortunate but I wouldn’t count on having a start date next week.

Default Light at the end of the tunnel?

Hello everyone,

Does anyone have some inside.scoop on a possible timeline currently? I'm a "new hire" with 1600 hours, I got hired in July, went to Texas for my interview, board and testing. A few weeks ago they sent back to Texas for ATP/CTP, I passed that course and sent in my paperwork, I didn't get a reply or an acknowledgement. I've called and emailed a few times and I can't get anyone to call or return emails🤔

(not advice) but highly doubt they’ll come after the 5k, I think even cadets are off the hook if they don't get a class date within certain amount of time after they get their hours. Id go elsewhere if I were in that situation.

Why continue to make lateral moves during the current hiring environment?
