Right now junior base is DFW and there is a standing vacancy for DCL so in theory they would be able to hold it in the first week of indoc. All about timing though because just a few months ago MIA was the junior base.

Dude you’re a clown, get out of here.

You’ll get DFW within 3-6 months if not right away, and you will be on reserve at most a few months.

All 3 bases are very attainable for FOs, DFW is junior captain base.

I’d be starting at Envoy as an 8 year DEC vs a 4 or 5 year CA at Mesa. Plus the bonuses at Envoy. The money at Envoy would definitely be more.

I flew with a new Mesa CA the other day, it took him 6 months to upgrade. That’s ridiculous. At least the FO min pay would be livable now, but not when he went through it.
Are you at Mesa right now? If so you already have the seniority, years, etc. Training issues is another subject.

As someone else posted, DFW just became the junior captain base. As far as reserve time, as a direct entry captain, do not be surprised if you spend 18-24 months on reserve. A few months on reserve is what an FO should expect.

Yes, Pangolin is a clown that doesn’t work at Envoy and is talking out his a$$.

Yes, and Mesa’s training department is a shîtshow right now.

As each fo upgrades hired prior to you then you’ll be pushed down. Recruiter told me expect 3.5 + years of reserve as DEC.

I had about 5 years 121. But I’ve been corporate for the last 3.

How quickly are prior 121 folks getting responses after applying? I've got 2700 121 TT but I got out of the game before the addition of ATP-CTP to the FARs so I don't have my ATP. Back in the stone ages you only needed your commercial multi to be an FO and you got your ATP as part of CA upgrade. I'm assuming that would knock me out of getting to bypass the interview.
