If there is one list that potentially might get stapled it's not PSA. How many Bombardier aircraft does American currently fly. Um.......zero. Why would they staple that piece of Sh!t airplane onto the bottom of their list. Do you honesty think mainline legacy pilots will ever fly an aircraft that can't hold a carry-on roller board in the main cabin? Now once Envoy shrinks to just 175s, there is a group of pilots ripe to be stapled.

Here we go. Bragging about your shiny 175 that you took concessions for.

Actually it is not. Our contract is better, much better in fact and we have the best trip trading language and schedule flexibility of any airline (major or regional). You have better flow language (for now) and commuter hotels, that is all. You also got a signing bonus, hopefully it hasn't all been spent by now.

Ah, yes. Gone are the days where you could come to APC for some somewhat decent info on airlines. All APC is now is a bunch of trolls trying to justify whose crappy regional is better than whose. God forbid, if management ever gets on these boards, they must have a field day!!

Are you white? Male? Middle class? Are you married to the (American, United, Delta) chief pilots daughter? Are you currently a captain? Do you have more than 10K total time with 5K turbine PIC? Did you serve in the military? Did you fly in the military? Did you fly fighters or go to test pilot school? Are your squadron buddies writing 5, 6, even 7 letters of recommendation for you? Are you an astronaut? Do you have an MBA? A degree in something other than aviation? Do you have a charity or foundation you spend 20 hours a week working at?
I think I know the answer to most of these questions. You probably have a restricted ATP, are waiting for IOE, and have a Riddle sticker on your brand new kit bag.
Now to help you understand how ignorant you are. Go to Costco today and buy 5 large boxes of paper. Each box contains 10 reams, each ream has 200 sheets. No go home and open all 50 reams of paper, dump all 10,000 sheets on your floor. In this stack of 10,000 sheets take one and write your name on it. This one sheet represents you among the 10,000 applicants at the legacy carriers.
Now put your piece of paper at the bottom of the stack. This is where the legacy hiring departments view you right now. Now crinkle your piece of paper up to represent the prick attitude you have and the fact you work at PSA.
Hang in there though, in 20 years you will be lucky enough to have American look at your crinkled piece of paper. But when the hiring board puts two and two together and realize what an a$$ you are, they will put your crinkled piece of paper right back to the bottom of the pile. Enjoy being a captain of an RJ. It will be the highlight of your career.

It is sad to see how people at PSA gloat with the bad that could happen to the real American Eagle as a result of their selfish attitude. At this point most pilots that actually work here know that our attrition has slowed enough to other regionals that now we can actually commit to more flying. The 2.5 years to CA or the 6 to AA is clearly Dependant on AA hiring steadily, assumptions based in contractual facts should be acceptable. In this case, mandatory retirements at AA actually support those assumptions.
Better days at eagle are coming because AA has stopped hiring from outside its wholly owned. Too bad PSA pilots get in, because in all honesty they do not deserve it after they did to this industry but specially to Eagle pilots.
To those FOs that left envoy to continue the whipsawing game specially after yelling "burn this place down" and today they are at TSA, PSA, Go jets and others: Rest assured that this airline isn't going to close and we will be at AA when the number comes up even if takes another 15 years because NOT working for all those other regionals after trying to stand for something greater than ourselves made it all worth it.

A. Most PSA pilots don't gloat at Envoy's misfortunes.
B. How do you explain the fact that when Envoy voted no the first time, they had more yes voters than PSA had total pilots at the time of their supposedly "selfish" vote? The exact fractions of yes and no at the different carriers during the votes serves no purpose other than to further narratives and self-denial.
C. How exactly do Eagle pilots deserve anything more than any other wholly owned? You voted to save yourself just like the rest did.
You sound like a parrot, squawking the same chewed up slogans. What is the point?
