This is 5 more planes into service requiring that many more upgrades as well. This is Eagle flying that was subbed out to Mesa, not Republic.

We have many more jets in flyable storage that we'll be happy to put back in service. More upgrades, and with our 6 year flow to AA;

It's a great time to be an Envoy pilot.
But it's a very risky time to be an Envoy new-hire.

Any increase in Envoy block hours is temporary. How do I know ?

Wilson said so. He said ........er, I mean PROJECTED Envoy will upgrade 14.7 pilot per month, which is up to half the number supposed.......er, I mean PROJECTED to flow. That means once PSA/Piedmont are up to snuff, Envoy gets benched again. There is no other explanation for his math. Envoy ultimately will resume contraction at the rate of attrition.

Oh, I agree consolidation will occur, but that won't be a benefit to Envoy pilots over that of PSA or Piedmont. Your currency has a very short shelf-life and soon will be worth about that of the Venezuelan Bolivar. You're trying to sell it as if it were gold and it is not.

A current pilot maybe, a new pilot absolutely not!

Too bad it's not PSA/PDT flying we're taking back then isn't it? Kinda shoots your latest went theory down.

We have the staffing, the others don't. The planes will follow the staffing. With our 6 year flow to AA and the returning flying it's going to be a great time to be an Envoy pilot.

Let's be honest with the newbies reading this forum. Will your pilots be able to flow if there are not enough new hires to replace them?

No it doesn't. Just WHERE do you think that flying would have gone if PSA/Piedmont could handle it ? Yup, to both of those carriers. Envoy has been and is STILL slated to SHRINK, it's just that for now, Envoy has surplus pilots (because it is a shrinking carrier).

For NOW, you do and that's all they need.........for NOW. Your 6-year flow is presently 2nd place to Piedmont's 4-5 (both based on SALES PROJECTIONS) and likely soon to be third to PSA once they both are running on all cylinders.

If one is to believe all the fuzzy math promises flying around, it sounds like it's a better time to be a PSA/Piedmont new-hire then an Envoy pilot.

If Envoy is slated to upgrade less pilots than they flow, it means it STILL is slated to SHRINK. In consideration of that, why would they need any significant number of new-hires ?

It doesn't sound like it's a good time to sign up to be an Envoy new-hire turtle. In fact, if one there has apps out and is thinking of leaving, I think they'd be stupid to pass up a decent gig in favor of fuzzy math and smoke and mirrors.

They can only withhold to the minimum which is currently 20 subject to 50%. In November it goes to 30 subject to 50%. That is the minimum. Currently we are averaging 62%. How's yours working?
