The pilot group at Envoy made an educated gamble that no other airline could staff the aircraft they were offering us. They've placed aircraft elsewhere, now it's time to see if we were right. It could be that we were wrong and the pilots at Envoy come out the worse for this, it's possible this plan blows up in AA's face. There is nothing that can be done now but watch.

The pilots said, what? No, we gave you concessions for the 175's just a few months ago, now you want MORE concessions? Sorry, not happening.
How many times is a pilot group supposed to keep giving back work rules, pay, and benefits, in order to secure more flying, especially when the the parent company is reporting RECORD income?

Eagle pilots did not vote down airplanes; we voted down additional concessions. We already have pay rates for the E-175 published in our current contract; there is no need for further concessions.

My personal opinion is that they have created such a negative, hostile, work environment at the airline, that they may have unwittingly started an unstoppable implosion of the airline through attrition that is unstoppable. I personally think they were trying to play serious hardball, and the situation got away from them. I think they MAY realize that in this environment, they will never be able to replace all, or even a major portion of, the flying that will be lost at Envoy at their own hand.

Just because AAG has placed a relative few aircraft here and there does not mean they will successfully be able to replace ALL or even a major part of your operation. AE, er Envoy is simply too large. It seems to be wishful, naive thinking on their part if they think it's possible.
