That MAY now be subjective. The question is "what" is AA for the purposes of the Envoy flow now that the carrier is merged. Sure there are still two (or three depending on your angle) seniority lists, but does the 824 flow language guarantee placement on the present APA seniority list or a just a "position at AA", which in managements interpretation could be initial assignment to the US Airways side ?

You are going all in with your anti-Mason crusade, aren't you? That is a big gamble seeing as how Mason has been so accurate in the past.
If/When all he is saying starts to come true what will you have to say then? Or will you just back away slowly into the shadows hoping that we all forget how much you hammered the guy?

I didn't SAY they did anything, I ASKED. Besides, the 824 provisions were an arbitration award and as we speak, the agreement it's based on is being violated by Parker in spirit re: metering (which Envoy ALPA is grieving), so in theory, yes, the beloved concept of managements "interpretation" isn't out of the question regarding this aspect. AA or U, they WOULD be mainline positions and identical compensation-wise. Regardless, this COULD be a negotiating point.

it doesn't do either of the things you say
vs.
it doesn't do either of the things you say in your question
Same thing, but one makes him feel better. If you read his posting, it's obvious it's a question; and it doesn't do either of the things he's saying.
He must have been fun to fly with when he actually had authority in the left seat. No wonder he comes here trying to relive it and talk down to everybody.
I'd much prefer to spend my time trying to help people. To each their own.

Parker was in charge by default for some time. He and Kirby act as they were not a party to our BK contract when in fact everything had to pass their purview. See the world did not really change and executives are crooks for the most part.

It's best just to just not read and skip over his posts.

Agreed, but you can't correct people like him. EF's hopeless.
