I think its pretty clear. PSA, PDT, Compass, TSA ,XJET, RAH,are all waiting (salivating) on the TA results. It seems that finally the eny pilots are awake this time. With eny getting replacement jets and a enhanced flow to AA, I can see FO's from other regionals going to eny. What other subpar regional out there offers the flow that eny is offering?
Good Luck. |

Why would a pilot wish to slow their career down waiting for a flow? Flow is a management tool, not a pilot benefit in any way. If this was 10 years ago I could see it, those people would be flowing now.
Good Luck. |

Ask eny pilots. 200+ flows already. Every month 20 captains are flowing. What other regional can provide that?
Good Luck. And how long did those 200+ pilots wait for that flow to get them to the majors? |

Well, considering the 9/11 attacks, recession and the fact that AA didn't hire in yrs.....What was your question again?
Good Luck. Maybe one day you will want to work for the airlines, this is a good place to learn some of the ropes. Good luck! |

I know since you are flying the G1 this probably all seems a little foreign to you. On the surface, flow through seems like a great thing but in reality its just a tool that management uses to obtain your obedience for 10 years, kind of like a carrot. The truth is you are better off going to a regional that is growing. Upgrade time should be the only thing on your mind, not 10 year flow throughs. You upgrade, then you are out of there in a year or two.

You're implying that 1-2k hours of 121 PIC is the golden ticket to get hired at a major. That is far from accurate. Ask all the guys who have been captains for a few years who still can't get out of their current regional.
Good Luck. |

Good Luck. Two face PSA people ... so sad that all the upgrades there have been hired. |

No one lied to us. We will operate 145s and dashes for a couple years. Then when those options come into effect and you run out of pilots, we will lend a hand. With all that flow you have you can t have it both ways. See ya then ;)
