Since you work at Envoy, what do you expect the reserve times to be for a new hire this summer?

Does AA have the scope to exercise the options?

It's hard to tell at this time. With new planes and flow through things will start moving at a pretty good rate at Envoy. You'd be amazed how new hires will step on top of each other to get to fly a brand new E-175 and secure a seniority number for flow through to AA.

Yes and yes. Can they exercise all options? Yes. All they need is a few tweaks in the cabin config. The company will ultimately do what they had planned for which is to expand their wholly owned regional carriers.

Envoy doesn't have a training program. Now if you get the bonus $$$ then you're suck here for 2 years. The bonus is not an obligation...

What bonus? $5k? That's not a bonus, that's more like selling yourself out like a wh*re for 2 years for a measly $200 extra a month. That's an insult. Endeavor is offering $30k for 2 years - that's more like it. Maybe others will follow suit.....$5k to be owned for 2 years is crazy.

Diva you're really trying to sell this thing. I understand wanting guys under you on the seniority list but good lord man.

As far as a I've heard Envoy hasn't exercised any of those options and may never exercise them and the orders aren't slated to arrive until the end of the year. I find it interesting how you word this how the options will be arriving before the orders are completed. I would assume the E-175 slots will all go VERY senior.

Clearly, you've made it a full-time selling job here and are playing very loose with wording and facts. The only question is, who you're doing that for ?

Again, more crafty playing with words. To be clear, Envoy new-hires DO NOT "secure" a seniority number at AA until they are in an AA new-hire indoc class and that will be many, many years from now. They also are unlikely to see a "brand new" E-175 for years as virtually all of those slots will go senior. The 200 captains seats by lifers who won't leave for many years and 200 F/O's more senior here for years before they too leave.

For the record, should our TA pass there are 1000 AA furloughees waiting to return at minimum 3rd year pay. Many are waiting until the very last minute and if even half come back (a reasonable estimate), it will take a year to run them all through and that means no flowing. Expect to see that wave begin this Spring.

Clearly, this person is here to pitch coming to Envoy and is using unscrupulous methods to do that. One would be wise to assume that this person is stumping for Envoy management and from an honesty standpoint, they are acting in their best interests and not prospective pilots. I would be VERY leery of this persons claims.

All of the options (and the promised airplanes) only work if Envoy can fill the new hire classes. From what I have heard, there is very little interest in going to work for Envoy. If they don't have enough pilots, everything stops.
