Start class on the 24th. Looks like DFW is not going to be an option at indoc. I do plan on bidding the 145 to keep DFW an option. Any idea how long it's taking to get back into DFW? I live here and the fact that I could be based at home was the #1 reason I took the job. I just cashed out on a severance package from NetJets that will supplement the weaker pay at Envoy for a few years and am in the pool at VX, but am not looking forward to the commute that will entail. Thanks guys! Looking forward to getting back to 121.

Not until there is a vacancy and nobody knows when that all happen. If you are the CRJ in ORD, you will most likely never get to DFW so take the EMJ!

Backfills, happened this last bid to people still in training. So DFW could be relatively quick. Definitely go 145 or 175 if you have the option.

Since NY is opening up that created a 35-40 pilot spots that will be filled by new hires. If you get hired before they start hiring into NY then it might take a month or two longer.
Right now it's a lot of speculation but wait a few days for a flow plan (A flow plan is the companies semireliable plan on when a pilots upgrade training, base transfer, or equipment transfer will take place.) to come out from the last bid. This will tell us how fast they are going to open up NY and what date they are going to start.

You should get it very quick out of training. What took so long the past couple years was the stagnation. With classes filling up for the foreseeable future, this will cause lots of movement. Guys are currently getting DFW out of training. Guys hired last winter/spring were awarded the transfer from ORD to DFW on the EMB 145. About 45 got awarded the transfer and about 25 came straight away and about 10 have still yet to transfer (scheduled on DEC 1).
