Hit 3* This page shows your current status, next status (if any) your displacement preferences and vacancy preferences. These last two are the ones you want to focus on. You want DFW to be the first line under both displacement and vacancy.

So here's what you do. First, enter: 3P/DFW/FO/EMJ/D

This is your vacancy preference. Move it to your #1 slot by typing: 3P/MOVE # TO # example: 3P/MOVE 2 to 1

Now put in the Displacement preference: 3D/DFW/FO/EMJ/D

Move it to number 1 just like you did before, except it will look like this: 3D/MOVE # TO #

That's it. You're set.
Much appreciated

...just attend the interview, you already have the XJT job in your back pocket so the interview will be a breeze - no pressure!

when is your class date with XJT? if you have sometime, just interview with envoy and see.

Can someone explain exactly what a displacement is and how it works for those who get displaced?

Hey all, first post!
I'm in the upcoming class for December, I'd like to know what's the average/typical schedule for a new hire on the 145 ORD is(I'll be commuting)? Also, I'm getting married in July and will need some time off. Is that doable holding a line or should I bid reserve and hope for the best? Thanks! All info is greatly appreciated.

A new troll account. Nice try.

Holding a line in ORD in 6 months? Ha ha ha! That's a good one.

Go onto the company website and under the bid info section of the flight page, read the vacancy/displacement guide.

You are gonna be fine. The company won't displace because it will cost them dearly.

Honestly not that far fetched we were at 6 months last summer in ord. Its about a year now but as hiring picks up I could see 6 months as a possibility again.

But you will have to bid the best you can request a few swaps. Maybe a PVD.

Assuming the CRJ's go to psa what do you expect the company to do with all the pilots currently flying the plane? without a displacement bid they would all sit at home with pay.

Crj's are leaving? Really? They will absorb the displacements via Flow and vacancy bids.
