Depends... when are you looking at starting? Will you commute? Spouse? Kids?
If you are planning on starting in January then I would wait until mid December to see if they truly are trying to fix our schedules. If you live in DFW or ORD then no question I would pick Envoy over Skywest. If you commute then Skywest maybe. Envoy isn't perfect but it still offers great pay and quick upgrade with the flow in the back pocket. If Envoy fixes its schedules then it will be a great place to start for you. But Envoy has no control over fixing the schedules so it is up to AAG to provide us with a better flight file.

- Ok, so paycut at 2nd year. Got it!
- Checks in the mail for better schedules. Got it. Been here 8 years actually and I'm working 4 on 2 off with the 4 days equaling 15 hours max. We've been told they'll get better for the last 9 months, and only getting worse. Words mean nothing. Actions are everything.
- How many of those new hires are sticking around? Just heard of a new hire getting written up during IOE.

What is intolerable for one could be inconsequential for another. If you don't like your circumstances, find another job, give notice and leave. I'm thinking long term and investing (my time) in a company that is not perfect but has the resources and motivation to resolve issues with pay, benefits and technology. The perfect regional airline does not exist.

But if they keep up with the upgrades it'll dip lower, give it about 6/7 months or so.

Most people you claim are against Envoy myself included aren't against Envoy. We want Envoy to be a good place to work. We want a better quality of life. We want to make more money than the people junior to us. We want long term sustainable contractual changes to attract new hires not temporary bonuses. We want a management that will follow the contract not amend it when it is convienent for them. We have had three years to rework the reserve rules but nope pre assigned 4am RAPs are still here. (I know the pilot group forced the company into this by not confirming.)
What i am against is you coming on here peddling your lies and making stuff up.
Lies
1) schedules aren't that bad
Again, the vocal minority on here are taking a few bad lines and turning them into the worst schedules we've ever seen here. Absolutely not true.
2) we are hiring 50 per month (rumor is November will be the first month to hire 50 NH)
We were closing in on 40 per month prior to this announcement. The trend has been upward from summer onward. I actually expect 50 per month to be on the low end of what we get when the numbers start reflecting the recent announcement.
3) flowing 40 per month in January
Check your company e-mail. AAG plainly stated that they wanted 40 per month starting in January. You can plan on it happening.
4) I'm sure there are more but I got to get ready. I will look at your older post during my 4 hour sit today and add on to the list.

I would ignore Dilson. He's disgruntled for whatever reason and can't see the forest for the trees. Your comment is more in line with what the average Envoy pilot thinks. You'll likely be waving to him from an AA cockpit someday as he's likely to bail for Jetblue, Spirt, Allegiant or the like and is desperately trying to get hired at a legacy.
