Big things are happening for Envoy. Management held a Q&A session today and provided the following information (borrowed from someone else's notes of the meeting):
Revised Flow/Upgrade numbers - AA has 600 newhire slots planned for 2016. 1500 AA newhires over the next 2 years is the plan.
300 Envoy flows for next year. 750 Envoy flows over the next two years alone.
205 upgrades planned now. Those are yet to be awarded and will be in class before the year (2016) is out.
New hire upgrade/flow to AA now planned at 2.5/5.5 years.
Additional 175's - Options are on the table, along with acquiring other existing airframes.
iPads - iPads should be coming our way around March or April and will be individually mailed to the pilot's home address. We are currently fully EFB (ipad) approved but pilots have to provide their own ipads. Starting next year the company will be providing pilots with their own ipads for use.
Envoy shooting for 345 new hires next year. (PM current Envoy pilots for help getting an interview sooner rather than later)
Again, these notes are not mine but from others who attended the meeting. Whoever else was there please add to this information anything else you may have.

I would advise that you put this guy on ignore. Go take a look at his post history. All he's ever done has been to bash Envoy and say the flow won't work. He's just a troll that hates the company and comes here to try and turn people against Envoy.

No pilot hired by Envoy has yet to flow to AA. They have all been Eagle pilots. Flow is about as useful as you are right now.

More people have YOU on ignore, but some of us don’t because your fake news and KoolAid propaganda has to be fact checked and corrected.

As far as pandemics go, this is a very mild one and the epidemiology and immunology both are proving this every day with case rates going up and death count percentages dropping. AA is keenly aware of this and is positioning their cards just right for the rebound.

You guys are really hilarious. Prior to this event, Envoy and its flow were wildly successful and they will be again in the near future. It was AAG who recognized that pilots wanted a one stop career and the bonus they got was that it was American Airlines. No one could have predicted a 100 year event like this happening. In case you aren't aware, AA has the most aggressive plan and will come out of this far ahead of the other legacy carriers. People like rondon are just jealous that he got left far behind in the OLD flow thru program that netted him a career at AA way too late in his life.

It currently sits #13 on the worlds worst plagues/pandemics and it is still growing.
It is currently the 3rd leading cause of death in the US.
We just surpassed our highest hospitalization counts with that number growing daily.
Anyone that can call 1.5 million deaths, 65 million cases "mild" is either insensitive or trolling, possibly both. You cant just consider "death" as the only metric in this. People deal with lingering, sometimes permanent damage to their bodies including:
The most commonly reported long-term symptoms include:
- Fatigue
- Shortness of breath
- Cough
- Joint pain
- Chest pain
- Difficulty with thinking and concentration (sometimes referred to as “brain fog”)(This one is being recognized more and more " "New research is now suggesting that there may be long-term neurologic consequences in those who survive COVID infections, including more than seven million Americans and another 27 million people worldwide. Particularly troubling is increasing evidence that there may be mild — but very real — brain damage that occurs in many survivors, causing pervasive yet subtle cognitive, behavioral, and psychological problems."Quoted from Harvard Research Study. (I bet you wouldn't call it "mild" if the FAA took your medical from you due to something like this.)
- Depression
- Muscle pain
- Headache
- Intermittent fever
- Fast-beating or pounding heart (also known as heart palpitations)
- Cardiovascular: inflammation of the heart muscle
- Respiratory: lung function abnormalities
- Renal: acute kidney injury
- Dermatologic: rash, hair loss
- Neurological: smell and taste problems, sleep issues, difficulty with concentration, memory problems
- Psychiatric: depression, anxiety, changes in mood
I say all of this because are all tired of your constant insertion into Envoy matters. You don't work here, nor at AA currently, so why do you have such a need to come here and post-inflammatory remarks? Are you enjoying making people upset? If so, that again speaks volumes about who you are as a person.
The flow wasn't working great prior to this, in fact, it was moving pretty slowly for most people's tastes. There hasn't been an Envoy hired pilot yet to flow, so for you to come in here and say how good it is, to what is mostly Envoy hired pilots, again shows your lack of knowledge over the subject matter, your clear desire to frustrate/anger your fellow pilots and your complete lack of dignity when discussion a worldwide pandemic that is still in its infancy. You can talk about vaccines, AA's aggressing plans, holiday travel etc all you want, but until we actually see it in action or have the results from it, you are guessing at best. You can say how immensely successful something was prior to an event all you want, but it doesn't change anything. Tokyo Electric was wild successful prior to Fukushima's accident, doesn't change that it was an awful event that will have decades-long repercussions.
Move on with your life, go bug your AA coworkers if you must, but please leave us be here at Envoy, and for god's sake, please don't act like you have any clue as to what is going with Covid-19. The best scientists in the world are still grappling with it, so I highly doubt someone that said it would "burn out in the Summer heat" has any leg to stand on.
