the 824 is basically a court order, DO IT. Kinda like the one united had years ago by a federal judge, HIRE 250 hour pilots because you advertise that as qualified.

Just because there is a difference doesn't mean there is a logical basis to believe that stopping the flow after the 824 would have any positive effect for the company. It would immediately destroy their recruiting efforts and trigger a mass exodus. That would be like stopping a sinking ship by putting more holes in the hull.

Does it make more sense in a critical staffing situation to offer more incentives (more $$) or do something that would destroy what staffing they have? Other than wishful thinking on your part, it doesn't make good business sense.

The protected pilot flow group (pilots hired before Oct 11, 2011) after the 824 group is an arbitrated award agreement as well.

A "certain" member here will no doubt jump in and say that award is as useful as wet toilet paper.. but nobody cares what he thinks and he doesn't even work here.

A certain infamous ex-Envoy employee that always posts around here claimed over a year ago that by now the flow would have stopped.

It hasn't...in fact the flow has accelerated as more people flow than are required.
