I've given you numbers. You call it company propaganda. I'm telling you. The numbers are accurate.
Judging by your posts a couple of months ago it sure seemed like you "bought in" to them then. I think eaglefly has whispered in your ear too long and has gotten inside your head.

You gave us the sum without showing any of the work.
Magic.

Eaglefly? I think for myself. He says enough without my help.

I haven't disappeared. You guys just wouldn't listen. I've given you information. The amount AA plans to hire, expected rate of flow, etc. What else do you want? A couple of months ago on this very thread there were more than a handful of ardent Envoy supporters who appeared to have the big picture and who understood the dynamics of the industry. Where did you guys go?
Seriously, what has changed in the past 60 days to this thread being all hate and vitriol toward Envoy? I understand that eaglefly and his group will always be here trying to bring doom and gloom to Envoy. It's obvious that this guy and his cronies have a problem with Envoy. Likely they missed the boat and suffered through the lost decade. I can understand some of those feelings but this isn't 2001 anymore. The sky isn't falling, we are still flowing, what's changed?
Compare Envoy to Mesa, GoJet or even Endeavor. None of those regionals has a flow in place. Endeavor has an "interview" but not a guaranteed flow like Envoy. Come on! To remind you, we just flowed THIRTY guys over to AA all with the contract being honored. Plus GoJet and Mesa's pay scales are awful along with likely very poor QOL. Endeavor has higher pay, but it's in the form of bonuses only. Envoy on the other hand has stable pay, a stable work environment and a GUARANTEED FLOW to AA.
Some guys will never be happy. There are those who will constantly gripe about the working conditions, pay, QOL, you name it. These types will always surface here and nothing will ever be good enough.
Nothing out there is perfect, including Envoy. But we do offer that stable work environment, excellent training and industry leading flow. I've tried to offer information to get this thread back on track but it seems to have fallen on deaf ears. To those who won't listen and will be doom and gloom no matter what, GET OVER IT! There's nothing wrong with Envoy. Taking the flow only into consideration, it's a premiere carrier today. It SHOULD be the first choice of anyone who wants a long career with the largest airline in the world.

Envoyers, this is the perfect example of the traditional empty lip service that has been the hallmark of your existence.
How can anything ever change when to them, nothing is wrong ?
My condolences.

You said AA is hiring 750 in 2016 and envoy will flow 375. We will send 120 flow's JAN-APR. Then zero MAY-JUL as they process the furloughs. That means 255 flows AUG-DEC or 51 a month. That number is not even close to accurate. Fess up your numbers are not even in the realm of possibility.

Here's a little bit of good news. It's not much, but it's better than nothing...
Dear Envoy team –
Today, I’m pleased to provide an update to our fleet plan that will increase the number of aircraft operated by Envoy this year.
Bombardier CRJ-700 (CR7) Aircraft
While the ultimate goal is still to have Envoy become an all-Embraer operator, American has advised us that the transfer of CR7 aircraft from Envoy to PSA has been deferred, and we can expect to continue operating all 35 of our existing CR7 aircraft through the end of 2016.
I’m delighted to see all of the positive momentum at Envoy this year and appreciate all of your efforts that make it possible. Our operational performance in recent months has been outstanding and we have much to look forward to in the coming months.
Please continue to work safely, have fun and look out for each other and our passengers.
Thank you,

Unfortunately, I think all that announcement really solidifies is the confirmation that one of Envoy's chief present missions is simply to be the pinch-hitter for other WO's until they get up to speed better and thus will continue in that role. Long-term, this reality doesn't seem to do much for Envoy pilots and does that give MORE or LESS confidence to present and future Envoy pilots about Envoy ?
Although temporarily it might seem good, the job of helping other carriers to become stronger at your expense doesn't seem something to be positive about IMO. I suppose it depends on whether one considers short-term gratification or long-term stability a more important factor is deciding what is positive or not.

Doesn't sound like it to me. Just sounds like they're giving PSA a break, as they've been having problems recruiting as well. Pilots want $$ more than a carrot on a stick flow through.
