Never ceases to amaze me how the dumbass management flushes money down the toilet everyday. Tripping over dollars to try and save a penny.

Of course you are hearing that. Of
Course you would post that here. Management is now using fear rumors to try and populate nee hire classes, with Mesa pilots.

If i remember that story and the townhall video they were, i think anyways, have dispatch reliability issues for international flights. Dougweiser said something along the lines of they were working on fixing the issues with the 67 but you might be right and they are deciding to mothball them early.

It is slightly humorous that the few out there have the winglets and ones I have seen doing the dfw-mia shuttle in recent weeks are the older straight wing model.

I feel the same. About time to feel the same way I felt in 2010/2011. Life is good, and the grass usually is not greener on the other side.

Cheers!

The trick is to carry this feeling into your next sequence. I love my job, I love the position it has put me in in life and enjoy the off time it gives me. I carry that passion with me into my four days and just try not to engage in negative cockpit conversations. It's frustrating to get into the cockpit and be with someone who is just so bitter. I understand where they come from, and I'm not one of those "if you don't like it, quit" guys because we have all invested a lot to get into this position, it would be difficult to find another career with the pay potential in such a short term. But come on, if you are that miserable, why are you trying to drag someone down with you? Dont go home on your next block of days off, go and travel somewhere if you are that miserable. Send the kids to the grandparents, have the wife take a couple days off and experience life a little. Just don't go home, sit in your den and log into APC and stay there for the next 3 days.

This. Why wouldn't you be happy here? It gets very old seeing all of the negativity directed at Envoy. The fact is, those are people who are jealous of our situation here. We have returning airplanes, a growing fleet of 175's, the flow is not going to STOP despite those who desperately wish it would. Our upgrade time is dropping like a rock plus you have the added benefit of a no interview/no medical flow to AA within 6 years of your hire date.

We just had a class of 8 start and the next class is scheduled for 20.
I stand by my previous statement that an FO position here is on par with that of a JetBlue, Alaska or Virgin FO. If an FO leaves here for Spirit or Frontier, it's a downgrade. Look at that again and read it carefully. With the 6 year flow here, only a fool would leave for any of those places. Certainly not one of our Captains. I see guys here leave for those places from time to time and it blows my mind. You can't fix stupid though.

Envoy has turned the corner and is being positioned to be THE premiere national carrier for American Airlines. Enjoy the ride. We're only getting started.
