I am posting my opinion based off my observations. When I see post that the company now has a coffee nazi I see no reason why I should not be able to chime in and bring attention to this fact.

Or let me guess your now going to tell me I should not bash China for child labor since I don't live there? Or maybe I should pipe down if Ford outsources several plants overseas and my family member loses a job as a result, since I don't work for Ford.

Your better off doing your own damage control at this point.
Hmmmmm. Damage control. silly rabbit tricks are for kids. By the way your opinion does have some valid points. Lets just be real, we are all bored and don't have anything better to than go at each other in the forums. Are we frustrated that we don't MIA ******* yea. How about the pay ******* yea. What can we do... not much. I cant quit my job and jump ships, cant afford going back to first year pay. So for now we are *******.

Look anyone that could jump ships realistically has. The rest are just trying to get out. Most left at Envoy will not be able to make a lateral move.

Not much you can do, but being honest about the treatment pilots clearly can't hurt. There is a reason management can't get new hires to come. Some of its money, quite a bit of it is treatment and QOL issues.

It is not your job as a line pilot to get bodies in the door. IMO you guys have had to endure the worst treatment I have ever heard. In this day and age when the pilots are the currency there is no reason to be treated as such.

The inability to get new hires through the doors speaks volumes. The less that show up the sooner you all might see some positive changes. From my observation Envoy won't change anything until the pain is too great. Once they get to that point all you can hope is they clean house and replace those that enjoy making your lives miserable.

Either way you very well may be able to help someone take a different path that may hold a better working environment or QOL than what you can't leave from now due to not being able to start over at 1st year pay and sitting reserve.

Having said that, it is hard to not be a jerk when someone claims I am somone else or making an account from several different screen names.

I have read this forum for many many years, and reading about an email sent out from some coffee nazi pushed me over the edge. Never felt the need to post here but truly this garbage is getting out of control at Envoy.

I've seen mall cops get treated better than the pilots at Envoy.

For sure man. This whole talk the other day about raising pay was a joke. For now I am enjoying the 175 but we need more bodies in the door if not this is a train that is going to run out of tracks here soon. How do we get more bodies? raised the f-pay. They do that the flow will work.

So please educate me on this policy as the original poster did not clarify all the rules regarding this policy? Does this mean a Captain is not to be trusted to check their schedule or print out his or her own release at the gate if they have a cup of coffee with them? Are they required to take said coffee down to the aircraft place it on the flight deck unattended then go back up to the gate?

In all reality again in just my opinion, this just shows how inept management at Envoy is. Clearly food and beverage at the gate could be an issue if passengers and gate agents turn the gate into a dinner table and thus a policy needs to be in place. But a flight crew passing through waiting to get to their aircraft or doing a few task at the terminal before boarding needs to worry about making extra trips down the jet bridge or find someone to attend to said coffee is retarted.

About as dumb as TSA confiscating a flight crew members lighter going through security. But going off you rationalization I would assume you are in favor of all airline employees going through regular screening at TSA. No liquids above a certain amount as that is their policy correct?

Seriously this looks like just a bunch of lemmings running this place. The policy says this so do it or else. You are not allowed to think for yourself and wear your big boy pants once at work. The fact that management would send an email out regarding this issue says it all to me.

But seriously if they sent out a company email bringing this issue up your a fool to think they will l not discipline someone failing to toe the line here.
Why does everything get so blown out of proportion. It was an email from the office secretary saying don't have food and drinks if you are using the computers.

Some sloppy idiot probably spilled a turbo large coke into a gate computer and was likely a jerk on top of that. So they said something.

Be reasonably professional and you will have no problems. Dont sit at the gate counter with a plate of spaghetti slopping it into your face. Who cares anyway. Nobody is going to get fired over setting a coffee cup down while u pick up the release. Jeez.. Just ignore it and go on with your life like everyone does. If I wanna have a cup in the airport I will have one. No big deal. Not too worried about it. Never even think about it again probably.

Serious question for new hires.

Why are you guys coming here? Is it because things haven't worked out elsewhere?

No one else will hire you?

Just need to get current to get on with a major?

Just curious, I can't see how we get one person through the door, hell I don't know how we even get apps.

Besides PSA I would choose every other regional over envoy.

We are in the bottom three on compensation, treated horribly, two bases mostly undesirable to many.

One of, if not the longest upgrade times.

Attrition is higher then new hires, (not good).

For me it was flow and base but I ended up going with the regional that paid more and no flow

Seeing how you need to be entertained and impressed, let me give you this tiny bit of information. If you place two apples in a bucket and then place 3 more apples in that same bucket, providing you leave all those apples in said bucket, there would be a total of 5 apples. I know crazy, but really, try it. Go get yourself a bucket and round up some apples then place them in the bucket as I said. Crazy stuff too, it won't even matter if they are red or green apples, still works the same.

That should keep you impressed and busy for at least a week. But after you have gotten that down you come back here and we can then work on colors. Colors will blow your mind.
