Might not be an option.
Rumor from another supposedly from multiple sources like instructors, scheduling and recruiting says they may displace from DFW E-175 F/O to ORD positions on CRJ or maybe even EMJ (displaced F/O's too junior to hold DFW) in the near future. Sucks for new-hires, but for some local DFW more senior F/O's, good news if that occurs. It wouldn't be a surprise, as displacements are a normal part of the airline pilot life.

We shall see how this potential develops, but despite the deflective cackling of others, it IS a valid consideration.

But once again, yes, everything you perceive as a negative is unsubstantiated rumor, idle speculation or downright wrong, etc. It's OK, I expect nothing different from you. At least you're predictable.
Carry on my wayward son.

Update. Upper management went over said supervisors authority and granted him travel. However, they are interpreting the company rules to their own benefit. Even though he did call fatigue with legitimate reasons, and then seek authorization to travel as he should, supervisor denied him travel and said he was still on duty even though released for rest. Then recommended he should go to another airline to get home.
Wow. Just wow.

Nothing unsubstantiated about it as you found out. I personally spoke to two pilots that this has happened to. But don't believe anything I say...because conspiracy and all that.

How about I twist it some more. I post both positive and negative here. The only time it gets twisted is when you disagree.
Funny, that.
