Are you saying you disagree with my point of the flow being contractual or the other points in the post I quoted? |

Not arguing it being contractual. I agree it is based off hiring numbers. My question isn’t about restarting the airline, which those phases account for. I am talking about hiring at the numbers required not to affect flow significantly for the worse. AA won’t be back to that for some time. Given the early retirements and the significant fleet retirements their hiring position is not nearly as dire and urgent as it once was.
Why do you humor him? It’s the trolliest troll post I’ve ever seen. |

Gotta be honest with you. I left Envoy years ago. They sold the flow at the time as 2.5 to upgrade and 5.5 years to flow. I was new and bought into it but I didn't even make it through my first year and figured out it was all BS and left. I suggest anyone with any sense, do some research and see that the flow does not work. Especially in these times.

It actually would have worked for some. Early 2016 hire. Yup 2.5 to upgrade and 6 to flow was advertised when I interviewed. Actual result was I upgraded in 1.5 and “was” on track for a 5 year flow pre-covid. That got kicked to 6 year flow. Point is for some it did work as or better than advertised. For others had a much longer upgrade time/flow projection. So if you were hired around when I did, it wasn’t BS. For others hired later than that, yes definitely longer. It’s timing and Lady Luck. Have you flowed yet? Yes, they made the claim of 2.5/5.5 but it would have literally been possible maybe for 75 to 100 pilots before the flow time started climbing again. It's more than disingenuous to claim that for everyone hired when they knew it wasn't true. I left for Endeavor, and while still a regional, I was treated far better than any day I had at Envoy.
Got hired at the widget. The claim was 2.5 and 6 not 5.5. Disingenuous that EVERYONE will have that flow time? Sure, I’ll buy that. Not arguing it. Just saying it was/will be in very near future for some, therefore true for some. Also saying that I always had the attitude of I’ll believe a 6 year flow when I see it.
