I don't want to quote your whole post, but you are absolutely correct ORDinary.

I have intentionally cost this company far more in Jet-A then they gained by cutting my pay rates from the post-bankruptcy Comair II imposed contract. Employee morale matters whether they like it or not. The fact he even wants to argue semantics about WHY we were threatened with liquidation over a couple dollars an hour block cost difference shows how blind they are in being unable to see the forest through the trees.

I would be able to live in base at ORD so the 175 DFW simply isn't an option.
Equipment on classes vary, sometimes you see for months an equipment and base offered and then it isn't offered for a few classes. It's all based on need. You should see ORD offered in the future. It could take a few months but it should be available before long. It's hard to predict how quickly when there is movement. As an example, if there is a vacancy with ORD open you are likely to see people who were awarded NY bid for those slots and if they take them all then new hires go to NY until slots open up, sometimes this is and quick as prior to finishing training. It happens like this at all airlines. Another example would be anvacancy having slots in DFW, you are likely to see people from ORD and NY bid it, and possibly having people from NY filling the vacancies created in ORD. The point is don't be discurraged if you get NY, as things move then you can move west. Sometimes youngetnit right away, sometimes it takes sometime time. It's all about timing and no one can tell you when to get in to match it perfectly because it's always changing based on needs.

I would personally pick the CRJ over the baby E145. Few of my buds are in it and they say performance- handling is way better than the E145.

Plus the FMC is better as well.

I'm not arguing semantics. I'm just stating facts as I know they were presented to the union at that time as I was a volunteer and had access to most of the information. And I am not management. I'm just a line pilot that has a great interest in seeing Envoy succeed. If Envoy succeeds, we all do. Ultimately, it's about the flow right? That's what we all want to happen and if we keep bringing the new hires in, well, that will happen.

The 360-400 number I quoted for flow in 2017 was originally posted by management. I know that the number has been revised downward slightly but the possibility exists that we could still flow up to 400 in 2017 and almost that many in 18.

As the CRJ's start to transfer to PSA, that will free up more wiggle room to allow the flow to continue unabated. That's the whole goal and I'm sure you want to flow as well. Just be patient. Things have turned around and you'll be at AA before you know it.

Where in that post says he's WANTING to wait for flow? He has his apps out like anyone else. Your insult is just that, an insult. You like to throw them out but you can't take them? Keep trolling....

Brilliant reasons for picking an airframe.

Thanks. I would've recommend him the E175 far superior than both but OP wants to be based in ORD.

What airframe gets me the best quality of life and pays me the most money? Cessna you say? Sign me up. SJS wears off very quickly.
