Honest question for you Envoy realists on here like Smutter, TrinityDawn, etc.

Is this the worst it's ever been at Envoy? I read about the horrible schedules, abhorrent treatment by management and crew scheduling and the constant junior manning events.

When I was there, at least I worked 4 on 3 off and only got the JM about 3 times total. I was very angry about it on 2 occasions as it hosed my commute. It seems like it's a way of life now.

There's only so much a person can take and if Envoy thinks they are going to keep pilots, then they are really dumb as a box of rocks if they keep treating you guys so badly. At some point, I'm sure people will say, screw the flow and just punch out anywhere.

I've yet to be junior manned in a year or 2, that's probably has more to do with good luck. I know a lot of people who have been though. Transition is usually the most likely time for the JM since they love to build lines with carryover, it leads to a ton of open time on the first few days of the month.

Bodies will solve that issue though and hiring 60+ a month will fix it quickly.

Schedules are rough though and extra bodies won't solve that, management needs to make more variety with the lines.

Plus if you get so lucky as to get RA to go to ORD, you might as well forget about trying to get back to DFW within 5 days. I can't keep doing this. It's creating havoc with the wife and kiddo. I can expect to do this sort of thing for a short time when I was a noob but not ten years seniority.

The answer is in the next few months. The answer is always in the next few months.

Don't forget about the few months after those few months. Looks like the company missed January.

Say one thing that is bad at this company. You're such a weasel quit coming on here lying about how good it is here.

Any new hire that comes here because they listened to you or dacuj deserves the bad that will come. Besides the flow, we have it bad here. If flow goes away or slows we will literally be the worst regional.

Anybody just starting out in this industry, take a look at Republic, PSA, PDT, you will do much better. They have better schedules at all 3. 2 of them have flow, and Qol is way better. The tool recruiters on here will tell you that envoy is the path to AA. OK so get your time and get hired at UA or Delta you'll have a better career. AA is behind those 2, the AA pilots have a lot of gripes. They probably shouldn't have decided it was better At USAir.

besides you will make more money at delta and united and less at AA.

What is ghe pass/fail rate for new hires on the CRJ? Are the ones that fail moved to different equipment or are they washed out of the company altogether?

Right now pass rate is 60% according to JH. If you fail, get a little more training and try again, unless you were terrible, in that case you go home. No switching aircraft.

Are the rest of the aircraft in the fleet that low?

Is this a training issue, an aircraft issue or because so many of the people being hired just don't have enough experience?
