They will look more in depth at your attendance record at four in 12. I've flown with a couple guys recently who have four and haven't heard boo, just the usual clear a sick call over the phone. They also didn't have anything else in their attendance that would draw extra scrutiny.
For the Record, yes you may be asked to speak to the CP after 4 calls, its nothing more than a conversation. At 5 you may get a First Level disciplinary step. Then you would have to get 3 of those before they would even attempt a termination. You would have to get sick every other month to have this many sick calls. The Sick Policy here is far more lenient than any other company I have worked for, nor any of my friends that work outside of the airlines. If someone really does get sick that much, they really do need to consider FMLA.
Imagine that, an employer actually expecting its employees to show up to work on a regular bases. Life can be really rough sometimes.

Given ORDinary's delightful APC personality, is it any surprise that he gets a little extra attention on attendance as well as other matters. Some people are their own worst enemies and make things harder on themselves. envoy isn't perfect but the way he describes half the stuff on here, I wonder if we work for the same company. envoy isn't as nice as it once was, it now is on par with every other regional which sucks but it isn't nearly as bad as he likes to describe it. I expect we will hear more of the same from him about AA when he flows and realizes that his mainline expectations don't align with the mainline AA reality.

You don't know anything about me. It's kind of silly for you to claim you do because of a couple of my posts, especially because I've posted plenty positive about envoy in the past. Why don't you tell me specifically what else I've posted that you think is incorrect.

FMLA for births: you get one period of time off, whatever you need between 1 day and 12 weeks long, taking place any time between the birth of the child and their 1st birthday. Before you can do that you have to provide some proof of the pregnancy and get approved for FMLA. It is unpaid. I'm pretty sure you have to be off probation to get FMLA.
One of the old American Eagle Chief Pilots used to tell people to use their vacation around the birth and then use the FMLA at Christmas. I would imagine the new envoy CP's aren't saying that.

I'm still on probabtion had 2 sick calls, and had another sick call 2 weeks ago plus medical leave because it was due to apendicitis. The CPO's office has been so supportive and so helpful, not once have they questioned why I've been sick so much in just 6 months.
