Got to call and tell them you are noshowing the deadhead. It's contractual they have to take you off it if your a line holder.

Have to let them know, if you don't your risking getting an MA for a extension/JM when you get back to base.

I don't doubt Piedmont getting more planes, but there is a strong indication from many in envoy management that LGA is going to double in size for us. More planes are slated to go there without anymore shrinking of other bases.

 

Attention FOs currently enjoying retention bonuses: after you upgrade all retention bonuses disappear. Apparently retaining new captains is not desired. I guess they want people to leave for United or Delta as soon as they upgrade.

Compare this to Endeavor, who pays a much higher retention bonus to ALL pilots.

Unfortunately my friend you have the wrong hombre. I am former Eagle pilot who flowed but am not of who you are speaking above.

I live through many years at Eagle and can say that the things there are never worse than now than from anytime my entire life time. You have been washed in the brain and in addition are completely drunk on cool aid the company has served you. The Envoy of today is no where near a paradise. It is regional airline that is of similar size to psa, or compass or mesa. And unfortunate for you, those companies have better lifestyle and work rules than envoy does today.

Envoy working conditions are similar in style to a gulag in soviet union or cuba. Having many junior mans each month and year is no way a good quality of life. Only haveing two days off between a 4 day trip is very bad quality of life. Management who issue missed assignment for refusing junior man or even calling fatigue is similar to this dictatorship I mention above.

You have to start somewhere and work somewhere so envoy will have people there. But my friend, you should checkin to rehab clinic for detox for the company cool aid.
