Hmmm which base are you in? In my base it's extremely difficult to get a line without 4-on-2-off.

If you have the ALPA app, or get it, there is a tab labeled Jumpseat...It has the carriers requirements.

Are we allowed to pick up open time that goes into our reserve days? I see a four day that starts in my last day off and would eat my three reserve days, but wasn't sure if I could try to get it in QuickTrade.

They will do it if it works for them otherwise they will give it to a reserve and they don't have to pay the premium that way

What you are suggesting is something the company should really consider though. It would fill in a lot of gaps in coverage we have.

And there you have it. Selectively reading the contract the way that suits them at the time. I.e. 4am preassigned rap etc.....

They did that to a classmate of mine this week. The individual never checked their HI6 or answered their phone, yet have a 0400 RAP. Shouldn't they be proffering rather than being assigned?
