Current RSV time in LGA is 2-6 weeks. Every LGA FO that wanted a line had one. When you finish IOE you are put on reserve. If you finish IOE before the 19/20th then you can bid for next month and get a line. If you finish IOE after the 19/20th (The days bidding typically closes. ) then you are unable to bid and you get reserve again for the following month. So essentially you get a line ASAP.

I don't think CS would allow this to happen. Definitely not through RF 100. You may talk them into it before the window opens up the day prior. However, I have never requested this type of OT during the proffering window. I get it either night before or day of where it would go to a RAP/SBY pilot.

Yes, I agree that it would negatively impact reserve. It should not be allowed to impact the proffering of trips.

I was 2/27 class. Lump sum. Everyone was given a check for 17.1 minus taxes day one, right off the bat. And for those who didn't get the 175 another 5k check was mailed to our homes minus taxes. That took about a week to receive.

It is different from a turn back in that you are beginning work from your day off (OT) and taking a sequence that transmissions into your work days on reserve. It impacts proffering because it takes that pilot out of the proffering que as well as the whole or parts of that trip. You may not be able to escape your 0400 RAP assignment. Volunteer list is when you are already working or you want to be called for a JM on your day off. This scheduling practice appears to be a gray area but I don't like how it affects the proffer window as far as getting out of an AM assignment on day one.
