Current RSV time in LGA is 2-6 weeks. Every LGA FO that wanted a line had one. When you finish IOE you are put on reserve. If you finish IOE before the 19/20th then you can bid for next month and get a line. If you finish IOE after the 19/20th (The days bidding typically closes. ) then you are unable to bid and you get reserve again for the following month. So essentially you get a line ASAP.

Allowing OT pick-ups that transition into your work days is impacting the reserve proffering system. Though this impact may help you out if you are senior on reserve and in base. I believe it to be another wrench in proffering similar to pre-assigned RAP. Apparently this is what mainline AA is allowed to do and pretty much the only means of getting OT while on reserve.
Yes, I agree that it would negatively impact reserve. It should not be allowed to impact the proffering of trips.

I was 2/27 class. Lump sum. Everyone was given a check for 17.1 minus taxes day one, right off the bat. And for those who didn't get the 175 another 5k check was mailed to our homes minus taxes. That took about a week to receive.

I disagree. Who are you to stop someone from coming in on their days off to work extra, when it is already very difficult to pick up OT with the constraints placed on reserve pilots? Furthermore, how is doing this any different then voluntarily turning yourself back while already on a trip?
