An article in Portuguese marking the 20th year of the ERJ-145 operation, published on 4/7.
"Envoy (a subsidiary of American Airlines) is taking 37 ERJ-140s out of storage to all be in service by the end of this year."
"A Envoy (subsidiária da American Airlines) está retomando o uso de 37 ERJ-140 que estavam armazenados e colocando-os em serviço até o final deste ano."

right, thats why skw grows every month in ord for aa while envoy in ord shrinks and dfw barely holds its own after 50% loss of flying.

That's not good for recruiting, not many want to go to LGA.

If they end up asking if you took the DH for some weird strange reason then don't lie about it.

Unfortunately my friend you have the wrong hombre. I am former Eagle pilot who flowed but am not of who you are speaking above.
I live through many years at Eagle and can say that the things there are never worse than now than from anytime my entire life time. You have been washed in the brain and in addition are completely drunk on cool aid the company has served you. The Envoy of today is no where near a paradise. It is regional airline that is of similar size to psa, or compass or mesa. And unfortunate for you, those companies have better lifestyle and work rules than envoy does today.
Envoy working conditions are similar in style to a gulag in soviet union or cuba. Having many junior mans each month and year is no way a good quality of life. Only haveing two days off between a 4 day trip is very bad quality of life. Management who issue missed assignment for refusing junior man or even calling fatigue is similar to this dictatorship I mention above.
You have to start somewhere and work somewhere so envoy will have people there. But my friend, you should checkin to rehab clinic for detox for the company cool aid.

This maybe one of the reasons why some are by passing the upgrade. JMs, lower seniority, expected flow date, commuting and good QOL on reserve are a few other reasons FOs are choosing not to upgrade.

Absolutely just commute back home!! Now if you were on reserve then NO. But as a line holder you don't have to worry about doing that last DH. Don't even call CS or check in for the flight. If you call and tell them you aren't going to do it, then they will dock you pay. Don't ask/don't tell works great here.

This is bad advice.
Don't do this if you're a probie (not sure if any are even line holders yet).

And just a heads up, I know many do what you're saying but might not be sound advice. Doesn't hurt to just call and get the NSHW on your schedule then you're free and clear because they approved it.
